Which more or less translates to that I like the older stuff a little more than the newer crap stuff. I like Bono and he's cool and all, but married with a bajillion kids, so no drooling for me. I have all their albums, some stuff from the Elevation tour when I saw them, etc. I don't have much of a presence in the online fandom aside from reading their website occasionally. I've heard a few bootlegs, but that's the extent of it. I've seen them in concert only once (alas) and would sell my right arm to see them again. I don't listen to them as much as I used to, but I do listen to them at least once a day. And sometimes I go on binges and listen to all of their cds. I have nothing to do with mailing lists and therefore no offtopic business for me. I try to expose everyone I know to U2 so they at least know when to recognize it and I have converted people. I don't consider it forcing my musical tastes on people... That's how one gets new musical experiences. Joshua Tree is my favorite album and Stay (Faraway So Close!) is my favorite song (track 5 of the Zooropa album).
